Established since 1932 the company was known as Lindetives Pieter Schoen and Zoon (NV LP & Z). In 1980 become a subsidiary of PT. Mega Eltra and changed company name into PT. Sigma Utama on 20th January 1982. Within the past few years till 1995 PT Sigma Utama has build a license cooperation in painting technology with Sigma Coating BV (Netherland. After 1995 until now PT Sigma Utama did not build any license cooperation with any parties and grow as a national paint manufactur under PT. Mega Eltra and afliation of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero).
